Proteomics workflow.
Collaborations progress from initial discussion to data delivery and interpretation.

QPC involvement across the proteomics workflow.
Workflow overview
Each project is discussed and tailored for technical feasibility, sound experimental design, and interpretable results.
Projects begin with discussion to clarify the biological question, sample type, and experimental constraints. Study design (controls, replicates, quantitative strategy) is reviewed prior to experimental work.
Samples are processed using established workflows appropriate for the study design. This may include enrichment strategies, fractionation, and high-resolution mass spectrometry.
Raw data are processed using validated analysis pipelines. Quality control is performed at multiple stages to assess completeness, reproducibility, and quantitative performance.
Processed data are analysed and visualised in the context of the original biological question, with internal review before discussion with collaborators.
Datasets, outputs, and visualised results are shared with collaborators. Follow-up discussions support interpretation and next-step planning.
